Ahead of the Counter Terror Expo (CTX) Event held in April at London’s Olympia, Clarion Events contacted Creo Performance MD, Keith Goodchild, to provide an event briefing for their exhibitors to help them secure an improved return on their investment (ROI) from attending the CTX event.

Keith’s session focused attention on the planning cycle prior to the event and the preparation of the stand personnel in terms of their ‘Engagement skills’ during the exhibition.

Using a combination of photographs taken at exhibitions and by demonstrating the skills of ‘engagement’, the audience were ‘kept on their toes’ throughout his presentation. A number of simple and practical skills were shared along with Keith’s TOP 10 do’s and don’ts for success.

As the photographs suggest, they really enjoyed the session!

This is what the Clarion Team said after the briefing:

"Great meeting you today and just wanted to say that I thought your presentation was great – you injected a bit of life into the audience which I don’t always believe is an easy thing to do."

Emma Banymandhub, Conference Producer
CTX / FEE / DSEI / EW Europe / SeaAirSpace / Unmanned Air Systems

"Great to see you again Keith. The feedback has been really positive from the team and exhibitors."

Zoë Bonser, Senior Sales Manager
Clarion Defence and Security

Here are some exhibitor’s comments shared with Keith after the presentation:

"That was really motivational, you explained things so simply that it all made perfect sense!"

"Can’t wait to get back and ask more questions so that I can really understand why we are attending and what we truly want in terms of results from this Exhibition "

"Those pictures are so true, I’ve seen our guys doing those things, but it’s only when you look at it from the visitors perspective you realise how awful it looks!"

"The 5 P’s. So true– Preparation prevents p*** poor performance!"
