APS is a successful global company with an HQ in Cleveland USA and a European HQ in Malvern UK. They specialise in packaging solutions and innovative packaging technologies.

Whilst overall business performance was satisfactory, there was room for considerable improvement. The problem was that they seemed unable to kick start the process to address the problem.

As a result of our initial consultancy the European Management Team began to recognise that it was not functioning as a team and that the vision and strategy for the business were not necessarily aligned. This was having a limiting effect on overall performance. We quickly established that much more could be achieved with greater operational clarity and focus on what mattered most.

As a result our ‘Best Year Yet™’ programme was rolled out to the Management Team in 2005 and from January 2008 onwards this was cascaded to all tier 2 staff annually.
