Case History / InterfaceFLOR

  • Client:InterfaceFLOR

InterfaceFLOR are one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of carpet and flooring solutions. They are also the first flooring company to have launched a ‘Mission Zero’ promise back in 1994 to become a truly sustainable manufacturing company by 2020 through the elimination of any negative impact on the environment by that time.

Keith Goodchild was chosen to work alongside InterfaceFLOR to prepare their event team for the recent EcoBuild event at London’s Earl’s Court. Keith designed and delivered a pre-event briefing for their front line sales staff that focussed their attention on the skills and behaviours that generate success at Live Events.

Their team of experienced sales staff met with Keith at their London design studio shortly before EcoBuild. Although many of the team had experienced what it was like to work at an exhibition, none had previously connected with the key message that their performance that was key to the delivery of a successful event.

They all noted how tough it was to remain focussed for 2 or 3 days and how tiring it was, but by taking a different perspective and looking at the world of exhibitions from the visitor’s perspective, they all identified that it was their performance that visitors remembered! Not the stand, the products, the messaging or the brochures, but how they interacted with visitors, what they said, how they said it and more importantly how the appealed to the visitors.

Creo Performance designs and delivers a comprehensive range of bespoke pre-event briefings in a variety of formats that ensure your teams are scripted, rehearsed and faultlessly delivered. If you want to improve your ROI at events then make sure that you invest in the preparation of your event teams.
